Coverage of the 2018-19 Flinders Island Crayfish Festival in Tasmania, organised by The Flinders Wharf.
High on my bucket list, I was excited to visit the Island and hang out with some of Australia’s best chefs. Diving, surfing and hunting along the way, the trip was culminated in a long lunch in a beautiful old shearing shed in sweeping farmlands.
Flinders Island sits in the Furneaux Island group, in North East Tasmania. It is a magical place, with fertlie waters for fishing and diving, and beautiful, lichen coated rock coastlines.
