BOZENS COTTAGE

A beautifully revitalised sandstone cottage in the Tasmanian Midlands by Taylor & Hinds Architects. Highly detailed timber joinery throughout pays homage to the Georgian era, with original ceramic ornaments gathered by the owners on display. A truly unique project.

DROMANA HOUSE

Dromana House by Core Collective Architects in Victoria. What a pleasing house to photograph, wedged into the hill, looking out to the sea. A huge cantilever protruding from the bank, wrapped in timber and steel.

DENISON RIVULET

Denison Rivulet accommodation on Tasmania’s East Coast. It was a great privilege to photograph this project for Taylor & Hinds – who’s work I have grown to respect immensely over the years. The cabins are deceptively large, with an incredible array of materials and finishes throughout, which needs to be experienced in real life to be truly appreciated.

SOUTH HOBART RESIDENCE

South Hobart residence, shot for Room11 Architects. A fantastic use of raw timber and concrete block, set into the hill. Featuring a large cantilevered lounge room and deck, the house sits high above a stream that runs down the base of the block, creating private views into the trees and the hills beyond.

BRUNY ISLAND HOUSE

It was a pleasure to photograph this converted shack on Bruny Island for Dock4 Architects. Architecturally, it is a simple yet beautiful A-frame structure, with a warm and open interior space overlooking Apollo Bay. The selection of materials in this project made for a very photogenic combination which was great fun to photograph.

SANDY BAY HOUSE

Photography of Preston Lane Architects Sandy Bay extension. Originally a one storey brick house, the extension is tiered across two levels right to the water’s edge. Stunning concrete platforms mixed with perforated steel work were a pleasure to photograph. Built by Lane Group.
